We saw this beautiful, 18 year old patient after she received an elbow to the mouth during a basketball game, which fractured her front tooth. As you can appreciate, this was a traumatic experience for such a vibrant young lady. Following a series of staged appointments including dental implant placement utilizing CBCT scan imaging, autogenous bone grafting, and connective tissue grafting procedures, we recently completed her case and the results speak for themselves!
Pre-treatment x-ray showing fractured tooth
The first stage of dental implant treatment was extraction of remaining root and placement of a dental implant with autogenous bone grafting. Following a healing period, a connective tissue grafting procedure was completed as well as a temporary implant crown to shape gingiva prior to the final crown.

“It is very rewarding to be a part of restoring a beautiful smile for such a young patient.” Dr. Colin Diener, D.M.D.
